Working in the 1800s

The working conditions in the 1800s were not very good. The people had long hours that were like 56 hours long. Some of the things they had to use in a factory called the "Triangle Factory" were sewing machines, shirtmakers, bobbins, and piles of cloth crowded in this factory. And the people had to sit very close together in the factories.

  1. Good information about working conditions. How are they different than in 2010? Do you think they should have been improved?
